Stakeholders’ orientation on Counter-TIPSTER program held

A 1-day LGU Project Orientation and Stakeholders Partnership Planning Workshop on Countering Trafficking in Person through Information Sharing, Training, Education and Responsive Governance (Counter-TIPSTER) was held on November 17, 2017 at the mayor’s conference room, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. It is a USAID-funded project and is implemented by Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights, Inc.

SMART LAWIN Patrolling conducted in Tibolo

Volunteer mountaineers from Sta. Cruz has participated the SMART LAWIN Foot Patrolling in Barangay Tibolo on September 2-4, 2015 along with community members and personnel from B+WISER USAID. B+WISER has introduced the HCVAs and SMART LAWIN as a tool for biodiversity and threats monitoring. This new system is called Landscape and Wildlife Indicators or LAWIN.
