The municipality of Sta. Cruz will have new set of LGU leadership starting July 1, 2016. It will be headed by new Mayor Alexis C. Almendras and Vice Mayor Jaime Lao, Jr. Almendras was serving as vice mayor since 2007 up to June 30 2016, while Lao was a 1-termer municipal councilor.
The complete set of municipal councilors who will be serving until June 30, 2019 are the following: JOSE NELSON SALA, ALAN ANGUB, ALVIN REY ALMENDRAS, RONALD CRUDA, MICHELLE ORPILLA, MARK LESTER CASAS, MICHELLE BAJO and NESTOR CRAVE.
