The booth of the municipality of Sta. Cruz was adjudged Best Booth during the Provincial Agri-Industrial Trade Fair from June 23 to July 1, 2014. The fair was one of the highlights of the 47th Araw ng Davao del Sur celebration.
Sta. Cruz’s booth features local products, agri-industrial investors and tourism destinations in the municipality.
Mayor Joel Ray Lopez received the award from Governor Claude P. Bautista during the culmination program on July 1 at the Provincial Capitol Gound, Matti, Digos City.
Sta. Cruz simply claimed the award by beating other participating municipalities in terms of booth’s visual attractiveness, total sales and number of guests visiting the booth.
A cash prize of 50,000 pesos and trophy was given to the municipality.
