The Municipality of Sta. Cruz – through Mayor Alexis C. Almendras – has supported the St. Joseph The Worker Parish Family Eucharistic on October 29-30, 2016 with a theme “Pamilya isip Misyonaryong Tinun-an sa Eukaristiya.” Several activities were lined up to make the event memorable and meaningful and was participated by all Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban (GKK).
Day 1 was started with a Living Rosary, Film Viewing and Inputs-sharing in the morning with the following groupings, Adult, Youth and Children. In the afternoon was the Dress-like-a-Saint competition held at the seminar house followed by a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Ronal Lunas at the Municipal Plaza.
After the mass, Fr. Lunas led the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament followed by Eucharistic and All Saints Procession, Benediction, Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Blessing of the Statues.
In the evening was a Taize Prayer conducted by the Youth Apostolate and Nocturnal Adoration.
Highlights of Day 2 schedules are the Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Morning Prayer, celebration of Holy Masses including Children’s Mass and First Holy Communion.
