Davao del Sur Governor Claude P. Bautista graces the 130th celebration of Araw ng Sta. Cruz on October 5, 2014. In a culmination programme held at the municipal plaza, the Governor said that with Sta. Cruz now being one of the highly-developed towns in the province, he expects that the municipality will eventually become a city sooner.
The culmination also saw several visitors which included Congresswoman Mecedes Cagas and Vice Governor Aileen Almendras, among others.
The Araw ng Sta. Cruz was celebrated starting on October 1 where variety of events were conducted to live up to its theme which is “Mas Lingaw diri sa Sta. Cruz (It’s more fun in Sta. Cruz).
Governor Bautista will likewise sponsor a show in the evening of October featuring several television personalities.
