The Business Council of Sta. Cruz, Inc., a suly organized group composed of private business locators in the municipality, has conducted a 1-day Goodwill Basketball Tournament on May 30, 2015 at the covered court of Roagationist Academy, Inawayan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Four teams have participated the tournament namely: Aboitiz Power, SODACO Team A, SODACO Team B and the LGU Selection.
According to President Rolando Pacquaio, the tournament aims to strengthen the camaraderie of business council members, to exercise sportsmanship and to promote healthy living among its members. It was also conducted to raise funds for the council.
SODACO Team A garnered the championship crown while LGU selection finished second. Abotiiz Power settled for 3rd place.
