250 Sta. Cruz women to benefit from STAR Program

Some 250 women recipients here will benefit from Sari-sari Store Training and Access to Resources (STAR) program which will be launched today, April 3, 2014 at the Municipal Gymnasium of this town.

The launching program, which shall likewise be the formal signing of Memorandum of Agreement and Induction Program, will have an orientation to give STAR Iskolars the details about the program, including their responsibilities as it goes on.

STAR Program is a Local Convergence Partnership on Empowering Women Retailers between the Coca-Cola Export Corporation, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Municipal Government of Sta. Cruz thru Training and Placement Network Program (TPNP). It mainly focused on providing formal Basic Entrepreneurship training and facilitation of access to business resources such as product and merchandising support.
